When I created this blog I wanted to call it something inspirational, but this last weekend I was given an upgraded inspiration and have changed the name to Clean Slate. Here is the story behind the inspiration. On July 20 I received prayer and a word and picture. The sweet lady praying over me encouraged me to record the prayer and this is from the transcript of the recording:
From the person who prayed over me:
I saw on Etch-a-Sketch, and on the screen was this kind of chaos and then I saw the Etch-a-Sketch turned over, and shaken, and I heard the Lord say, “clean slate.”
And I saw you at this big body of water and I saw that your feet were kind of like at the shoreline and in the sand, it was like someone came by and it was, like again, it was kind of this chaos in the stand. I saw a “wave of the Lord” come and wash up to your feet and go back out into the depths and the sand was completely made clean and smooth. And again, I heard, “clean slate.”
I have a couple of scriptures for you.
Deuteronomy 30 and this is the Lord. And he says,
I call Heaven and Earth to witness against you today that I have placed before you life and death. The blessing and the curse and the Lord says so choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants.
John 10:10
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I come that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].
What is happening in your body, is not Jesus. It's not the Lord. And so, I sensed with the clean slate of the Etch-A-Sketch and I sensed even with the shore being clean and that scripture that says” choose life” that there is an opportunity for you, from this point forward, to walk clean - to walk in a new way. Even with the Etch -A-Sketch, it's a way to be creative. There is something new ahead in this path for you, that it has been made clean. This is a new day, a new opportunity, a new journey, a new beginning, a new start.
And so, there's this level of excitement that the Lord is cleansing and he's bringing something new. Is that resonating?
Me: YES! Everything you've said -- I've heard, I've seen in a dream. EVERY THING!
Amen. Amen. He knows you and He loves you so much. He is with you. He is never gonna leave you, nor forsake you.
Lord, I thank you right now for Nancy, God, I thank you Lord, that you've already gone before her. Even she said, this dream, you've already spoken to her. So this is just a confirmation, God, that you are faithful. What you showed her, You are faithful to fulfill the things that You have set before her and so we just thank you, God, for this clean slate right now.
Yes, I thank You that the spirit bringing chaos will leave now in Jesus name. We thank You Holy Spirit for your peace. The Lord spoke, and there was light, He spoke to the darkness, He spoke to the chaos. Peace. Shalom. Peace. And so we speak peace to this body right now.
Chaos in this body will dissolve and dissipate and leave now in Jesus name. Reports of disease and reports of sickness, you will come into alignment with heaven right now. Reports, you will be made clear. New doctors results. Dr. Jesus, our ultimate healer says you are made full, washed, and cleansed by the blood. We thank you for restoring this body. Jesus. We thank you for Nancy. We thank you that she is choosing life and she gets to choose creativity and she gets to choose what she does with this clean slate. Thank You, in Jesus, mighty name for her.
