This weekend Dan and I traveled to southern Idaho and I started the Precision Intestinal Oxidative Hydrotoning (PIOHTM) sessions with Dirk Yow that I mentioned in a previous post. This experience has been an educational journey for me as well, in all the areas. I feel like I realized how little we really know about our body and how important the colon and organs are to our entire wellbeing. Over my lifetime I have mistreated my body so much, and though I have been in a journey for years to feed my body right, I can see that a large part missing in my overall self-care is detoxing my organs. There is so much out there about that and it’s confusing, to say the least, to know what is effective and what is actually safe to do.
My body was dehydrated and it took in 6 gallons of water to start with and by the end of my first session my face was fuller (wrinkles not so noticeable) and my skin color was a nice pink and my lip color red. During the sessions my body let go of scar tissue, dead lymph cells, all kinds of crystallized toxins, including heavy metals. Having never done anything like that before this was quite the experience. I was told I would feel like I got a good workout and that I did. When they say that health is a combination of the physical, emotional, and spiritual I find that is true. In this experience, cleansing out my body brought emotional and spiritual things to the surface and we decided to give my system a rest. I am so grateful to have this type of therapy available for my journey and I am looking forward to the benefits of continuing this along with all else that we incorporate into my healing process.
I am so grateful for Dirk who prayed along with us throughout the sessions and is a big support in my journey. He lets me know that he is praying for me daily and I am glad to have him on my team. I am including pictures of me with Dirk and his sweet dog, Angel, on my last day and other pictures we took on the afternoons of my sessions. We do like to take advantage of seeing what we can where we can, and this trip was no different. I am glad I had the energy to get out a bit.
